


Chardonnay House is the charming original home on our farm! This spacious unit offers two comfortable rooms and a large family room, complete with its own private veranda – perfect for relaxing. The house sleeps 8 people comfortable - 10 if the outside flat is included.
The family room features two king-sized beds and two single beds. You'll have plenty of space with three full bathrooms, plus a cozy living area that includes a fully equipped kitchen and a dining room for your meals.
As this is a self-catering unit, please remember to bring your favorite food and drinks. Alternatively, we can prepare a breakfast and/or dinner basket for your convenience, made up from the best of the region. If you would like to arrange a picnic with a view, wine tasting or wine pairing experience, please let as know in advance.
You'll find everything kitchen utility you may need in the fully equipped kitchen, and there's an outdoor (roofed) barbecue area for grilling. This spacious home consists of a living room, a separate dining room, three bedrooms and three bathrooms two with with a walk-in shower and one with a bath. Guests will find a stovetop, a refrigerator, a dishwasher and kitchenware in the kitchen. The unit features a washing machine, vineyard views and a terrace.
For your entertainment, we provide a flat-screen TV with a DSTV Premium package. And of course, free Wi-Fi is available throughout your stay. A pool with a view to cool off on warm days and a fireplace in the living room to warm up the wintery nights.
The Agterkliphoogte Valley is nestled below the Riviersonderend Mountain Range and known for its beautiful scenery, abundant wildlife and wide range of bird species. The meeting of Fynbos and Renosterveld make for a very interesting range of flora, from wild Protea to sensitive orchids grow in the wild, undisturbed.
Explore the farm and its many trails, swim in a crystal-clear mountain rock pool, or hike to the well-preserved indigenous rock art. Or maybe enjoy a rugged trip in the tractor's trailer - through fynbos and to the rock pool or indigenous art with an experienced guide. Or, simply relax with a glass of wine and soak in the tranquility.
